Successful “Women in Testing” Event by Caveon Raises $1,960 for Orlando Women in Need.
The women of the testing industry came together last week to raise funds for The Women’s Resource Center, an Orlando organization that supports women and families during times of crisis and transition.
The Women in Testing Reception, Caveon’s annual ATP conference kickoff event, was held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 and helped to raise $1,960 in individual and Caveon-matched contributions for The Women’s Resource Center in Orlando.
The Women’s Resource Center is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that provides a variety of services for women in periods of crisis or transition, empowering them to build better lives for themselves and their families.
Jamie Mulkey leads the charge in organizing the reception.
“In the early years of ATP, it was an opportunity to get reacquainted with testing industry colleagues,” Mulkey said. “I wanted to celebrate women’s contributions to the testing industry and provide a space where new attendees could meet other women in testing. Last year, as we were planning for the reception, we said, ‘Hey, what if we can make this reception also about giving back?’ And so the tradition continues, now with a greater purpose.”
Many women who attend the conference also attend the reception year after year.

The event illustrated the support within the testing industry for those who are less fortunate. This annual reception is a place to gather, connect, and uplift those in need.
